Louise Erdrich will take part in First Lady Michelle Obama's mentoring events on Wednesday.
Erdrich, a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, will speak to students at Edison High School in Alexandria, Virginia, as part of the event. Later, she will meet with the First Lady and other mentors at the
White House.
The events are part of the White House's celebration of Women’s History Month.
